KELSO, Mo. -- Martin Carl "Marty" Wuesthoff, 57, of Kelso died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 22, 1953, in Detroit, to Robert Earl and Elizabeth DeWaelsche Wuesthoff. He married Carol Lynn Hrudicka on June 24, 2000, in Doniphan, Mo.

Wuesthoff served in the United States Navy until he retired.

He was a member of VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. He was of the Catholic belief.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Adam Wuesthoff and Cletus Maclin of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Aaron Eaton of Kelso, Justin Keene of Phoenix City, Ariz.; three daughters, Nichole Bascomb of St. Roberts, Mo., Venus Dushanuck of Poplar Bluff, Skye Keene of Doniphan; two brothers, Rick Wuesthoff of Huntsville, Ala., Ken Wuesthoff of Kansas; a sister, Lorraine Williamson of Doniphan; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kizito Wenani officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce, Mo., with full military honors.
