DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Mary-Jo Regina Duty, 58, of Diehlstadt died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at her home.
She was born March 20, 1946, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Robert L. and Evelyn R. Herzog Weeks. She and David G. Duty were married Nov. 6, 1993, in St. Louis.
Duty was a bank cashier, and member of Diehlstadt General Baptist Church. She was formerly of Poplar Bluff, Dexter and Bertrand, Mo., moving to Diehlstadt seven years ago.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lawrence Verble Jr. and Robert Verble of St. Louis; two brothers, Robert Weeks of Dupo, Ill., John Weeks of Kentucky; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., from 10:30 a.m. to service time today.
The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Mark Odle officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
