JACKSON, Mo. -- Mary C. Kilhafner, 88, of Jackson, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Born Jan. 13, 1913, in Marquand, Mo., she was the daughter of Arthur and Ollie Dudley Masters.

On Nov. 26, 1933, she was married to Andrew C. Kilhafner.

Kilhafner was a seamstress and had worked at Buchstein Manufacturing in Chaffee.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Kilhafner; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean and Elmer Buhs of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, William Masters of Chico, Calif., Homer Masters of St. Charles, Mo., Ora Masters of Gordonville, Mo.; three sisters, Hazel Allen of Cape Girardeau, Nellie Plumb of O'Fallon, Mo., and Pauline Green of Florissant, Mo.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Susan Davis and Steven Buhs of Cape Girardeau and Michael Buhs of Hawaii; and five great-grandchildren, Meg, Rich and Rob Davis, and Michael and Betty Buhs.

In addition to her parents, Kilhafner was preceded in death by three brothers, Orville, Walter and Norman; and two sisters, Bess and Grace.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. John Harth as celebrant.

Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Catholic Church building fund.
