ANNA, Ill. -- Mary Evelyn Hill Orr, 78, of Anna died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Jonesboro, daughter of Samuel and Delphia Mae Dillard Littlejohn. She married George W. "Bud" Hill Oct. 2, 1938, in Anna. He died Dec. 17, 1975. She then married Carl Orr Feb. 14, 1988, in St. Louis.

Orr was a member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathy Stephens of Mount Vernon; a son, David Hill of Brighton; two stepdaughters, Catherine Harvey of Steeleville, Carla Brooks of St. Louis; two sisters, Lucille Bromley of Havana, Fla., Alleene Mowery of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Steve Wilkinson and Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
