Mary Pfeiffer

JACKSON, Mo. -- Mary Mildred Pfeiffer, 91, of St. Louis died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001.

She was born Oct. 7, 1910, at Jackson. She married Earl J. Pfeiffer, who died April 7, 1987.

Pfeiffer retired from Good Will Industries.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Charles Proffer of St. Louis; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe D. and Natalie Gilder of Carver, Mass.; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Judy and Lonnie Reed of Pocahontas, Ark.; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Kathy Pfeiffer of Madison, Ala., Earl C. and Mary Pfeiffer of Mabank, Texas; two sisters, Jewell Gettings of Scott City, Mo., Faye McLaird of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Dessie Reid of Jackson; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, June Benton, and a brother, Allen Reid.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southern Funeral Home in St. Louis. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
