TAMMS, Ill. -- McMickle Eugene Alexander, 73, of Route 1 Tamms, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at the Meridian Manor Nursing Home in Mounds.

He was born Aug. 6, 1920, near Tamms, son of the late George and Ella Sires Alexander. He was a member of the Catholic denomination and was a retired self-employed automobile mechanic.

He is survived by a brother, George Alexander Jr., and a sister, Margaret Malone of Mounds. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Joe Alexander.

Graveside funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Bill McGhee will officiate, and Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
