BELLINGHAM, Wash. � James Michael "Mike" Brown, 66, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, in Bellingham.
He was born Dec. 15, 1950, in Delta.
Mike proudly served in the armed forces during Vietnam from 1968 to 1974.
Mike will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, welcoming smile and amazing sense of humor.

He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Shrum of Bellingham; his siblings, Rick Brown and Iraena Brown of Illinois; his children, Michelle Boyles, Rochelle Brown and Michael and Jesse Brown, all of Missouri, and his son, Michael Brown of Illinois; his stepchildren, Tina Osmond of Alaska and Teri Stills and Tracy Shrum of Washington; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse L. and Florence Bain Brown, and his siblings, Lorna Sue Cordia and Roger Gale Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Missouri.
Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
