ADVANCE, Mo. — Minnie Ava Green of Advance passed on from this life Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, surrounded by family, at her son's home in Trinity, Texas. She was 86 years old.

She was born Sept. 24, 1935, in Randles to the late Paul and Eva Lynn Schiwitz.

Minnie was married to George Veon Green for 55 years, and he preceded her in death July 19, 2016.

Minnie is survived by two known brothers; her children — son, Russell Green, and his wife Tina of Trinity, and daughter, Tina Macklem, and her husband Robert of Wentzville, Missouri; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held in the near future.

McNutt Funeral Home of Conroe, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
