SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Myrtle Bollinger, 91, of Sedgewickville passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at her home. She was born May 26, 1924, at Perryville, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore G. and Virgie Colin Weibrecht. Myrtle married Joe H. Bollinger on Dec. 23, 1950, in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. He preceded her in death March 6, 2004...

SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Myrtle Bollinger, 91, of Sedgewickville passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at her home.

She was born May 26, 1924, at Perryville, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore G. and Virgie Colin Weibrecht. Myrtle married Joe H. Bollinger on Dec. 23, 1950, in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. He preceded her in death March 6, 2004.

She was a former member of Patton Presbyterian Church in Patton, Missouri. Myrtle enjoyed gardening and was completely devoted to her family.

Loving survivors include four sons, Ray Bollinger and Steve Bollinger of Fruitland, Sam Bollinger of Sedgewickville and Ron Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Carol Bollinger of Sedgewickville, Janet Hampton of Jackson and Ellen Hampton and Margie Schoppa of Cape Girardeau; a sister, June Blessing of Perryville; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Bollinger; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; and four sisters.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger Family Cemetery near Sedgewickville.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Bollinger Cemetery.
