SIKESTON -- Funeral for Nella Hill of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church. Dr. Jim Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter City Cemetery at Dexter.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hill, 86, died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 22, 1912, at Essex, daughter of James F. and Cordelia Thompson McMullin. She and Leland Hill were married Feb. 15, 1935. He died Dec. 3, 1959.

Hill worked in the billing department of rural Electric Cooperative, retiring in 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, member of Sikeston Art League, and charter member of Cotton Boll Area Girl Scouts and Missouri Delta Medical Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Stearnes of Sikeston; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
