NORA A. MILLER

DEXTER -- Nora Alice Miller, 89, of Dexter, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Sept. 26, 1903, at Marquand, daughter of Alvie and Adelaid Yount Gromer. She and James Arthur Miller were married in 1919 at Marquand. He died in August 1962.

Miller was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church here.

Survivors include four sons, Willard Miller of Cape Girardeau, Buddy Miller of St. Louis, Sonny Miller of Bethalto, Ill., Junior Miller of Mira Loma, Calif.; five daughters, Pauline Paul of Whitewater, Edith Davenport of Alton, Ill., Mary Flores of Aurora, Ill., Velma Sontag of Dexter, Linda Tilley of Jackson; 40 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. David Pringle officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
