JACKSON -- Funeral service for Norman Claude "Tom" Farrow, Jackson Route 4, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eddie Dodson will officiate. Burial will be in McLains Chapel Cemetery at Oriole, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Farrow, 74, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at his home.
He was born Jan. 9, 1919, at Indian Creek, son of Edward and Valla Dee Ward Farrow. He and Ilean Nolan were married Aug. 4, 1940.
Farrow was a retired mechanic. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the Allied Forces in the European Theater and at Normandy.
Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Wesley Farrow of Cape Girardeau, Omar Farrow of Jackson, Fred Farrow of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Margie Schenimann of Jackson, and Millie Jennings of Inverness, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
