CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Norman Merle Elsperman Sr., 87, of Chaffee died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at Chaffee Nursing Center.
He was born Jan. 1, 1920, at Vanduser, Mo., son of George and Martha Wells Elsperman.
He and Jewell Marie Jackson married Aug. 15, 1942. She died March 8, 2006.
He was retired owner-operator of Norm's Service Station in Spring Valley, Calif.
Survivors include two sons, David Elsperman of Spring Valley, Mike Elsperman of Houston; a sister, Velma Lovel of Jackson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
