DEXTER -- N.W. Persfull, 82, of Dexter died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at Crowley Ridge Care Center.
He was born Oct. 24, 1915, in Pocahontas, Ark., son of Sam and Ada Vandergriff Persfull. He and Helen Mae Smith were married Sept. 9, 1935. She died July 9, 1990.
Persfull had lived in Southeast Missouri since 1952, and at Dexter the past few years. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two sons, J.D. Persfull of Dexter, Harold Persfull of Bloomfield; a daughter, Ada Persfull of St. Louis; two sisters, Maxine Persfull of Pocahontas, Ark., Lively Thornton of Salem, Ark.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery near Pocahontas, Ark.
