CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Ollie Bramlett, 85, of Montgomery, Ala., formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
She was born July 21, 1916, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of James A. and Nancy Ella Woodard Shepard.
Bramlett lived in Indianapolis, Ind., a number of years where she was a member of Emerson Avenue Baptist Church. She had lived in Montgomery the past seven years.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Askren of Montgomery; a brother, the Rev. Norman Shepard of Sikeston, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Bob Medlock will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
