EAST PRAIRIE -- Ollie Belle "Boots" King, 71, of East Prairie died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born April 28, 1928, at Ft. Leonard Wood, daughter of John and Ollie Belle Tuck Hughes. She and M.G. Holland were married Dec. 10, 1953.
King lived in Cape Girardeau most of her life. She had been a private duty certified nurse assistant. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Rick Boen of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Tonya Evans of Charleston; a twin brother, John Hughes of Jefferson City, a brother, Austin Hughes of Harrison, Ark.; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.
A private memorial service will be held later.
McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
