CHAFFEE -- Funeral for Opal Maxine Faulkner of Water Valley, Miss., formerly of Chaffee, was held Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home in Water Valley.

Faulkner, 71, died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, at the home of her daughter in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

She was born April 5, 1927, at Warm Springs, Ark., daughter of Ralph and Edith Marlett Dalton.

She married Earl Dudley of Chaffee. She later married Glen Faulkner of Chaffee.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Water Valley.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Hoyt of Tuscaloosa; a son, Jim Dudley of St. Louis; three sisters, Virginia Dalton of Cape Girardeau, Phyllis Rhodes of Whitewater and Sonja McMullin of Morley; three brothers, Ervin Dalton and Vernon Dalton, both of Maynard, Ark., the Rev. Bill Dalton of Southhaven, Mich.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
