SIKESTON -- Opal Marie Robertson of Sikeston died Friday, March 28, 1997, at Columbia Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas. She was 88 years old.

She was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Campbell, daughter of John and Mary Maples Frost.

On Dec. 3, 1934, she married William "Bill" Robertson, who preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1967.

She lived for 63 years in Campbell, where she was a homemaker. She was a church member at Greater Works of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Selena Woodward of North Richland Hills, Texas; one sister, Rose Lee Boshell of Jefferson, Texas; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston on Monday, March 31, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., th eRev. Charles Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
