BLOOMFIELD -- Opal Marie Williams, 80, of Bloomfield died Monday, April 5, 1999, at her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918, at Sikeston, daughter of James and Beulah Robertson Fulkerson. She first married Vernon Taylor Sept. 27, 1937. He died Jan. 5, 1990. She and Woodrow Williams were married Dec. 8, 1991. He died March 20, 1997.
Williams lived in the Bloomfield community all her life. She was employed 35 years at Elder Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 385.
Survivors include four stepdaughters, Ellen Inghrim of Danville, Calif., Mary Hawkins of Kirkwood, Kathy Gardiner of Belleview, Ill., Ann Williams of Kansas City; a stepson, Stanley Williams of Topeka, Kan.; two brothers, J.W. Fulkerson of Bloomfield, Glenn Fulkerson of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Alma Lewis, Beulah Eaton and Dorothy Gillespie, all of Bloomfield; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Hank Foster and Louie Medlin officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
