MARBLE HILL -- Oren S. Estes, 74, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at his home. He was born April 11, 1921, at Grassy, son of Louis and Lury Like Estes. He and Mary Lou Lawson were married Jan. 21, 1971. She died Oct. 27, 1991. Survivors include a son, John Estes of Marble Hill; a brother, Charles Estes of Marble Hill; two sisters, Goldie Guthrie and Dorothy Swan of Marble Hill...

MARBLE HILL -- Oren S. Estes, 74, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at his home.

He was born April 11, 1921, at Grassy, son of Louis and Lury Like Estes. He and Mary Lou Lawson were married Jan. 21, 1971. She died Oct. 27, 1991.

Survivors include a son, John Estes of Marble Hill; a brother, Charles Estes of Marble Hill; two sisters, Goldie Guthrie and Dorothy Swan of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Clinton Massa and Gene Robbins will officiate. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
