Otto Osroz Moore, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Dec. 22, 1919, near Delta, son of Charles and Anna Bock Moore Sr. He and Margaret Geiser were married June 14, 1942, near Gordonville.
Moore had been a material handler with Atlas Plastics, and also farmed. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville, served on the finance board, and played on the dart ball team. He was a board member at German Evangelical Church near Dutchtown. He was a former board member at Pecan Grove School, and had been a 4-H leader.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Wanda Perry of Whitewater, Betty Graham of Festus, Doris Jansen of Kelso, Brenda Hinkle of Cape Girardeau and Donna Dubbs of Jackson.
Also surviving are five brothers, George Moore of San Antonio, Texas, Leonard, Charles and Everett Moore of Cape Girardeau, Garnett Moore of Delta; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Church, with the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
