CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Paul Friga, 67, son of Alfred Friga of Chaffee and the late Rita Mae Bollinger Friga was born Sept. 1, 1953, in Cape Girardeau and departed he life suddenly Thursday, April 8, 2021.
On May 22, 1971, he was united in marriage to Pattie Jackson in Oran, Missouri. She survives of the home in Chaffee.
Paul was a former employee of HWI in Cape Girardeau and a resident of Chaffee. He was a member of the Chaffee Elks No. 1810 and Knights of Columbus. Paul was also a member of the Missouri Umpires Association and War Child Riding Group in Chaffee. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved spending time with his family.
Besides his wife and father, survivors include a son, Brian (Emily) Friga of Jackson; daughter, Lisa (Jason) Townsend of Oak Grove, Missouri; two brothers, David Friga of Chaffee and Robert (Rita) Friga of Enid, Mississippi; sister, Laura (David) Westrich of New Hamburg, Missouri; grandchildren, Brook (Isaac) Venable, Brandon (Mackenzie) Parker, Brent (Tiffany) Parker, Angela Rehm, Payton Friga, Gracie (Kyle) Patterson, Jacob Campos and Gabriella Campos; and great-grandchildren, Bode Johnson, Collins Venable, Beckham Parker, Lane Patterson, Leah Patterson and Kade Patterson.
Besides his mother, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Friga.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Chaffee Elks will officiate a service at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
