Paul Herron

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Paul L. "Pic" Herron, 57, of Perryville died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at his home.

He was born July 26, 1959, in Perryville, son of Donald and Betty Jo McAtee Herron of Perryville. He and Jan Babb were married July 11, 1986. She survives in Perryville.

Paul was retired from Sides Construction Co. in Jackson. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Boosters.

Other survivors include a daughter, Nichole (Joshua) Mitchell; a stepdaughter, Amanda (Brian) Torres, and a stepson, Tony Slacer, all of Perryville; two brothers, John and Steve Herron, both of Perryville; a sister, Pamela (Mark) Welker of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, Camron and Hayden Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer officiating. Entombment will be in Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Education Foundation.
