SIKESTON -- Paul Jobe, 84, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Aug. 4, 1907, in Greenfield, Tenn., son of Lee and Margaret Jobe. SIKESTON -- Paul Jobe, 84, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 4, 1907, in Greenfield, Tenn., son of Lee and Margaret Jobe. He and Dorothy Grace were married July 20, 1934, at Essex.

Jobe was a graduate of Parma High School and Chillicothe Business College. He was a retired manager with Malone and Hyde, and had worked in real estate.

He had lived in Sikeston 37 years, and was a former city councilman. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and had served on its administrative board.

Jobe was a member and past president of Sikeston Rotary Club, member of Sikeston Masonic Lodge 310 AF&AM, and Moolah Shrine Temple in St. Louis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Tommy Jobe of London, England; three daughters, Sue Smith of Chevy Chase, Md., Kay Mahony of Ft. Smith, Ark., Susan Shields of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, A.C. Siehr, who reared him.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Charles E. Buck and Gary Carter will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m.
