SIKESTON -- Paul "Little Son" Yarber, 65, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born July 23, 1928, in Sikeston, son of Robert and Lydia Green Yarber. He and Dora Williams were married April 14, 1957.
Yarber was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pauline Moore of Chicago; three sisters, Pinella Cooper of Madison, Ill., Ella Sumlin of Sikeston, Sammie Warfield of St. Louis; six brothers, Robert Yarber of Burlington, Iowa, Wylie, R.B. and Aaron Yarber of Sikeston, David Yarber of Gary, Ind., Isiah Yarber of Atlanta, Ga., and three granddaughters.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. John Church. The Rev. Flem Bronner will officiate, with burial Monday at 11:15 a.m. in the National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
Friends may call at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston from 7-8 p.m. today.
