PEARL A. MARKHAM

ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Pearl Ann Markham of Advance will be held at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Scott Price will officiate, with burial in Dongola Cemetery at Dongola, Mo.

Markham, 81, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 1, 1914, at Dongola, daughter of Marion Sanford and Mary Grace Scott Harris. She and Norman Richard Markham were married Dec. 15, 1945, at Marble Hill.

Markham was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Jerry Winchester of Advance, Jim Winchester of Pine Bluff, Ark., Don Winchester of Marble Hill, Scott Markham of North Richland Hills, Texas; a daughter, Joyce Holder of Advance; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren and a stepbrother.
