HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Peggy R. Buelow, 83, of Hot Springs died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.
She was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Hot Springs, to Glen O. and Elizabeth "Cookie" Robbins.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Robbins.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Don V. Buelow Sr.; two sons, Steve and wife Donna Buelow of Hope, Ark., Don V. Buelow Jr. and wife Tami of Hot Springs; three granddaughters, Erin Maneth and husband Jeff of Hope, Meredith Morgan and husband Nathan of Fayetteville, Ark., Ashly Buelow of Fayetteville; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Ellie Maneth of Hope.
Peggy was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs and very active with her husband in ministering to the homebound and hospitalized. She was a charter member of Hot Springs Baptist Church.
The funeral was held Jan. 22 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs, with the Rev. James Craver officiating. Interment was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kevin Buelow, Jeff Maneth, Robin Burgfeld, Nathan Morgan, Dick Wilkerson, Mark Buelow, David Yoder, Jay Robbins, Mike Robbins, Jeffrey Rothweiler and David Buelow.
Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday school class, Ira Livers and Dr. John Bond.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
