ZALMA, Mo. -- Peggy Ann Skidmore, 66, of Zalma passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Woodland Hills in Marble Hill, Mo.
She was born Oct. 25, 1943, in Chicago, daughter of Burner and Mary Gosling Fiddell. She and Howard Phillip Skidmore were married in 1965 in Arizona.
Peggy retired from working for Los Angeles County, Calif. She was a foster parent 15 years.

Survivors include her husband; and two sisters, Irene Quebbemann and Catherin Marquez of California.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
