DEXTER -- Dr. Ralph D. Rehm, 74, of Dexter died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. He was born September 12, 1923, near Parma, the son of George Henry and Bessie Frailey Rehm. He and Barbara Jean Lockhart were married Oct. 6, 1949, at Grenada, Miss. She died Nov. 27, 1977. He and JoNell Bennett Musgrave were married Aug. 1, 1981. She died June 2, 1986...

DEXTER -- Dr. Ralph D. Rehm, 74, of Dexter died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born September 12, 1923, near Parma, the son of George Henry and Bessie Frailey Rehm. He and Barbara Jean Lockhart were married Oct. 6, 1949, at Grenada, Miss. She died Nov. 27, 1977. He and JoNell Bennett Musgrave were married Aug. 1, 1981. She died June 2, 1986.

Rehm attended college at Southeast Missouri State University and was a farmer prior to entering medical school. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis and began his medical practice in Bloomfield in 1962. He later moved to Dexter, where he practiced for more than 24 years. He retired in 1993.

Rehm was one of the founders of the Dexter National Bank and served as chairman of the board for many years. He was a charter member of the medical staff of the Dexter Memorial Hospital and a former member of the Board of Directors of the First Midwest Bank of Dexter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Advance.

Survivors include two sons, Shay R. Rehm of St. Peters and Alan G. Rehm of Nixa; a daughter Julie Rehm Keathley of Dexter; two brothers, Carl R. Rehm of Advance and Ronald K. Rehm of Dexter; three sisters, Fay Todoroff of Des Peres, Marjorie Jacobs of Belle Mead, N.j., and Norma Perkins of Iberia; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Rick Broadway will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.
