NEW ORLEANS -- Randy Ray Williams, 38, formerly of East Prairie, died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at his home in New Orleans after an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 17, 1960, in Hammond, Ind., son of James R. "Mutt" and Betty Sue Ward Williams.
He had lived in New Orleans for the last 10 years. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Jeff and Tim Williams, both of East Prairie; and his maternal grandmother, Margaret Ward of East Prairie.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Brother Ernest Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
