PERRYVILLE -- Rayford B. Statler, 83, of Perryville died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born Aug. 12, 1909, in Perry County, the son of Daniel and Clara Bell Miller Statler. On May 21, 1936, he married Alma F. Conrad, who survives of the home.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Perryville.

Other survivors include a daughter, Judith Ann Schmelzle of Ste. Genevieve, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild. Two sisters also preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. David Pieplow will officiate, and burial will be in the Home Cemetery in Perryville.
