JACKSON -- Raymond Eaker, 89, of Jackson died July 28, 1994 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born in Glen Allen on Aug. 29, 1904 to George F. Eaker and Ida McGregor Eaker.

He married Lillie Marie Mouser Aug. 4, 1926 at Glen Allen. She preceded him in death Jan. 14, 1991.

Survivors include four sons, the Rev. Verlee Eaker of Anna, Ill., Willie "Bill" Eaker of Laguna Beach, Florida, James Dewayne Eaker of Anna, and Gary Eaker of Jackson; four daughters, Mary Wanda Hess of Advance, Dimple Wiseman of Jackson, Ermalee Smith of Cape Girardeau and Linda Seabaugh of St. Charles; one sister, Celesta Fisher of Marion, Ill.; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

One sister and one son preceded him in death.

He was a farmer in Scott County, retiring in 1961 when he moved to Jackson. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Jackson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First General Baptist Church in Jackson with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Namon Eaker will assist Rhodes at the service. Burial will be at the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
