PERRYVILLE -- R.C. "Joe" Penner, 75, of Dayton, Nev., died Sunday, Sept. 3, 1995, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

He was born May 19, 1920, in Gandy, Neb., son of Frank Royal and Mary Kirby Penner. He and Marystelle Schwach were married in 1982 in Winnemucca, Nev.

Penner was a retired aviation inspector. He was a charter member of Elks Lodge 2701 in Perryville, and former member of Elks Lodge in Long Beach, Calif. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeff Penner of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; three daughters, Sandra Hughes of Bermuda Dunes, Calif., Linda Callella of Wildomar, Calif., Jana Packard of Redondo Beach, Calif.; two stepsons, Thomas McCune of Aurora, Clifford McCune of Glenpool, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Renee Christisen and Pamela DuVall of Perryville; a brother, Glenn Penner of Torrence, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Saturday. The parish wake will be Friday at 7 and Elks service will be at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
