DELTA -- Retha G. Lesch, 77, of Delta died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 18, 1920, at Randles, daughter of Thomas and Lucy Spain Lands.

She married Ivan Lesch on Nov. 8, 1937.

She was of the Pentecostal denomination.

Survivors include her husband; eight sons, Lonnie, I.J. and Lindell Lesch, all of Allenville, Hughes, Don and Dale Lesch, all of Delta, Tim Lesch of Jackson and Guy Lesch of Thebes, Ill.; a daughter, Sharon DeBrock of Delta; two brothers, Bill Lands of St. Louis and Dallace Lands of Delta; a sister, Nadine Pleasant of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and sister.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.

The Rev. Jack Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.
