MARQUAND -- The Rev. C. E. Henson, 68, of Marquand died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born June 6, 1927, at Leadington, son of Percy E. and Beulah Kemp Henson. He and Mabel L. Mills were married Oct. 20, 1950. Henson was an ordained minister and pastored several churches in the area. He was a member and co-pastor of the Community Church near Marble Hill. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II...

MARQUAND -- The Rev. C. E. Henson, 68, of Marquand died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born June 6, 1927, at Leadington, son of Percy E. and Beulah Kemp Henson. He and Mabel L. Mills were married Oct. 20, 1950.

Henson was an ordained minister and pastored several churches in the area. He was a member and co-pastor of the Community Church near Marble Hill. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include his father of Park Hills; his wife; three sons, William E. Henson of Bridgeton and the Revs. Harold and Darold Mills, both of Marquand; three daughters, Marsha Russell and Margaret Million, both of Patton, and Sandy Long of Marble Hill; a brother, John Henson of Concord, Calif.; a sister, Wanda Gregory of Coldwater; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Revs. Jerry Sander and Diana Cook officiating. Burial will be at Union Light Cemetery near Marquand.
