PERRYVILLE -- Richard "Jake" Jaco Jr., 73, of Perryville died Saturday, June 1, 1996, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, son of Richard and Marie Lancaster Jaco Sr.
Jaco was a heavy equipment operator at Mississippi Lime and a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II. He married Mary Frances Houston in 1946.
He is survived by two sons, Corey Jaco of Pottervalley, Calif., and Jerome Jaco of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Temre Vouga of Huntington Beach, and Rozalind Holbrock, of Grants Pass, Ore.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
