PERRYVILLE -- Robert E. Christisen, 58, of Perryville, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at his home. He was born April 30, 1937, in Perry County, son of Ludwig William and Evelyn Mary Schremp Christisen. Christisen was an iron worker at Big Boys Steel Erection in St. Louis, and was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver. PERRYVILLE -- Robert E. Christisen, 58, of Perryville, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at his home.

He was born April 30, 1937, in Perry County, son of Ludwig William and Evelyn Mary Schremp Christisen.

Christisen was an iron worker at Big Boys Steel Erection in St. Louis, and was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and AmVets Post 94 in Perryville, and Iron Workers Local 396 in St. Louis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include three sons, Robert and James Christisen of Perryville, John Christisen of St. Louis; a daughter, Toni Kopp of St. Louis; his mother of Perryville; eight brothers, David, Merlin, Larry, Kenneth, Theodore, Roy, Allen and Ronald Christisen, all of Perryville; seven sisters, Carolyn Grindstaff, Patricia Torbert, Terrie Favier, Norma Schumer, Donna Mahnken, all of Perryville, Loretta Wood and Judy Herman of St. Louis, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, 6:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, and 6:30 a.m. to noon Monday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
