PERRYVILLE -- Robert L. Roy, 62, of Perryville, died Thursday, July 29, 1993, in Perryville. He was born June 2, 1931, at Perryville, son of Robert and Clara Killian Roy. He and Gladys Schemel were married July 3, 1954. Roy was owner/operator of Rob Roy Nursery here. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, American Association of Nurserymen, and was a Third Degree member of Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force...

PERRYVILLE -- Robert L. Roy, 62, of Perryville, died Thursday, July 29, 1993, in Perryville.

He was born June 2, 1931, at Perryville, son of Robert and Clara Killian Roy. He and Gladys Schemel were married July 3, 1954.

Roy was owner/operator of Rob Roy Nursery here. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, American Association of Nurserymen, and was a Third Degree member of Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include four sons, Mark, Keith and Aaron Roy of Perryville, Dean Roy of Chicago; a daughter, Robyn Duvall of Perryville; a brother, Sanford Roy of state of Florida; a sister, Audra Sutterer of Perryville, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The parish wake will be at 7.
