WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Robert M. Wilson Sr., 78, of Wolf Lake died Friday, Sept. 20, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1918, at Wolf Lake, son of Alfred M. and Daisy Lyerly Wilson.
He married Juanita Vincent in Jackson, Mo., Oct. 31, 1938. She survives.
He was self-employed, operating a grocery store at Wolf Lake for a number of years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
Other survivors include a son, Robert M. Wilson Jr. of Walnut, Ill.; daughters, Sheila Otten of Wolf Lake and Lori Foster of Anna; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and two sisters.
Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Hileman & Parr Funeral Services Chapel, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at graveside by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
