PARMA, Mo. -- Ronald Wayne Sexton, 48, of Parma died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at the Beverly Health Care Center in New Madrid.
He was born Feb. 8, 1952, near Dexter, son of Newburn "Pete" Sexton and Lorene Lape Sexton. He was raised by Alvin and Iva Payne, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Parma.
Survivors include his father of Columbia; two brothers, Kenny Sexton of Ellsinore and Donald Sexton of Poplar Bluff; four sisters, Wanda Garcia of Houston, Texas, Ida Medlin of Marion, Ind., and Bonnie Sexton and Sue Sage, both of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Hall officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery near Essex.
