Rosemary Ford, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at Heartland Care and Rehab.

She was born Jan. 19, 1927, in St. Louis, daughter of Theodore and Mattie Cook Goodman. She and Glen W. Ford were married Nov. 24, 1942, in Jackson. He died July 28, 2002.

Mrs. Ford had been a nurse aide at Southeast Missouri Hospital and also worked at Central Foods. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Donny Ford and Wayne Allen Ford of Jackson; three brothers, the Rev. Jack Owens and Ronnie Owens of Scott City, Mick Owens of Chaffee, Mo.; two sisters, Virginia Williams and Connie Taylor of Wappapello, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathryn Burton; and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Stroderville Cemetery at Whitewater.
