SIKESTON -- Roxie Mae Boyle, 78, of St. Louis died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Manila, Ark., daughter of James Andrew and Molly Mae Warren Parker. She and Arlin C. Boyle were married May 15, 1937, in Keiser, Ark. He died July 21, 1993...

SIKESTON -- Roxie Mae Boyle, 78, of St. Louis died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Manila, Ark., daughter of James Andrew and Molly Mae Warren Parker. She and Arlin C. Boyle were married May 15, 1937, in Keiser, Ark. He died July 21, 1993.

Boyle worked 35 years at Carter Carburetor, and co-owned and operated Watson Furniture Co., both in St. Louis.

Survivors include a son, Odell Boyle of St. Louis; a brother, Junior Parker of Morehouse; two sisters, Grace Powell of Sikeston, Ella Williams of Miner; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lance Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
