Ruby May Baker, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.
She was born Oct. 22, 1909, in Bollinger County, daughter of "Beet" and Catherine Haas Poston. She and Ernest S. Baker were married Feb. 20, 1926, in Jackson.
Baker worked 23 years at International Shoe Co. She was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Oscar Poston of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Pearl Masters of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a half sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lester Dale officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
