ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Ruby Counsil of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Richard Sullins will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Counsil, 99, died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at Herrin Hospital.

She was born Dec. 1, 1899, daughter of Robert and Mary McClain Fields. She and John R. Counsil were married Sept. 29, 1920. He died April 12, 1988.

Counsil was a member of Anna United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Linda Larson of Pryor, Calif., Danni Goodman of Ohio, Brad Larson of Garland, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, and several brothers and sisters.
