FROHNA -- Funeral service for Rudolph F. Hellwege, formerly of Frohna, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Rev. Luther Herman will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 6:30-8 a.m. today.

Hellwege, 99, died Monday, July 11, 1994, at Perry County Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1895, at Frohna, son of Ferdinand and Amalia Ross Hellwege. He and Juliana A. Lueders were married Oct. 26, 1919. She died May 19, 1990.

Hellwege was a farmer. He was a member and former trustee of Concordia Church, and member of its Men's Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Burroughs of Frohna; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, 11 brothers and sisters.
