PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rudolph T. Welker, 93, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 16, 1908, at Friedheim, Mo., son of Vernard and Theresa Laurentius Welker. He and Helen Buchheit were married June 5, 1976.
Welker had farmed and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald Welker of Hazelwood, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Connie Schrader of St. Peters, Mo., Ann Kielhafner of Chaffee, Mo., Mary Boxdorfer of Perryville; two stepsons, Leo Schott of Charleston, Mo., John Schott of Chaffee; 16 stepgrandchildren; and 20 great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today, and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Thursday. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery at Apple Creek, Mo.
