CHAFFEE - Rufus Austin Hart, 78, of Chaffee, died at his home Saturday Jan. 25, 1992. He was born May 31, 1913 at Henshaw, Ky., the son of J.O. and Addie Hart.
On July 22, 1935 he married Mary Harlean Little, who survives.
He was employed by the I.B.E. Local #1 in St. Louis as an electrician, before retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Church of God in Jackson.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mary Schlitt, of Route 1 Oran, and Barbara Limbaugh, of Route 2 Jackson; a sister, Agnes Lovell of Henshaw, Ky.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and a brother.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett chapel, with Rev. Alvie Surface officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Cemetery near Morley.
