SCOTT CITY -- Word has been received of the death of Ruth Allie Walz, 81, of Elgin, Ill., a native of Illmo, who died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1993, at the Sharon Elms Nursing Home in Elgin. She married Harold A. Walz on May 11, 1930, at Farmington. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Fred L. Walz of Peoria, Ill., and Gene R. Walz of Roseburg, Ore., and seven grandchildren.
Private service was held in Elgin.
