Ruth A. Green, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 21, 1950, at Delta, daughter of the late Eula and Freda Friedrich Mansker. She and Norvel J. "Joe" Green were married Dec. 8, 1970, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 2005.
Mrs. Green worked as a housekeeper at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Steven (Autum) Green of Tamms, Ill.; two daughters, Crystal (Brian) Vogel, Vaniasn Green (Mike Wren) of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Freda Mansker of Oran, Mo.; a stepson, Randy Green of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Jamie Andrew, Angel Vogel, Jordan, Michael, Breanna Wren, Allisyn, Ashlee Green; step-grandchildren, Lori, Lindsey Pender; five brothers, Ronnie (Mary) Mansker, Jerry (Martha) Mansker, Eula Mansker, Glen (Debbie) Mansker, Michael (Connie) Mansker; and two sisters, Mary (Hursel) Williams, Sharon (Gordan) Hodge.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Russell Heights Cemetery prior to the service.
Graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Jim Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow.
Jones Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
