PERRYVILLE -- Ruth M. Schremp, 65, of Perryville died Aug. 19, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 13, 1930, at Perryville, the daughter of Wallace and Esther Sutterer Streller. On June 17, 1950, she married Elvis Schremp, who survives.

She was a member of the Catholic denomination, the past mayor of Lithium and a member of the Sereno Social Club.

Other survivors include three sons, Ron Schremp of Brewer, Eddie Schremp of Perryville and Tommy Schremp of West Frankfurt, Ill.; a daughter, Debbie Webb of Patton; a brother, Harold Streller of Perryville; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren and great stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. The Rev. Francis Agnew will officiate, and burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
